Vehicle Identification Number Verification
For $15, the Police Department will certify your vehicle identification number, which may be required to register your car or obtain insurance. This service is provided in the second floor lobby of the Public Safety Building, 2801 Coral Springs Drive.

Volunteerism is very much a part of the Coral Springs spirit. Besides nearly 20 citizen advisory and event committees, residents volunteer their time and expertise at City Hall, City Hall in the Mall, the Police Department, the Center for the Arts and for community events. Residents with misdemeanor offenses may perform their court-ordered community service hours by doing volunteer work in City parks and in other departments.

Waste Management

Waste Management is the City’s exclusive trash and residential recycling service provider but does not have exclusivity for hauling of residential construction and demolition debris. Call Waste Management for recycling bins.

Waste Transfer Station

Wiles Road at N.W. l26 Ave. • Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residents may use the Waste Transfer Station to dispose of junk, appliances and yard waste. No commercial waste or raw garbage. This service is free and available to Coral Springs residents only. Two forms of identification are required for proof of residency (i.e., photo ID and a copy of a utility bill, insurance card, or other proof of residency). Waste may be brought in your car, passenger van (under 7 passengers), pickup truck (beds no larger than 4’ x 8’), or trailer (no larger than 4’ x 8’ x 3’).

Yard Waste Disposal

Yard waste at single-family residences may be disposed of at every regular trash collection pickup. Grass clippings must be bagged. Tree branches and shrub trimmings must be cut to four-foot lengths, bundled, and cannot weigh more than 40 pounds. Branches exceeding these limits and bulk items from multi-family dwellings may be brought to the Waste Transfer Station (see the Waste Transfer Station listing for location, times, and guidelines).

Members of the Youth Commission take a leadership role in planning activities and events for young people. Middle and high school students are urged to participate.
