Public Works

The City's Public Works Department is comprised of five divisions:

Administration
Oversees the Department administration and budget for all Divisions as well as manage the solid waste Franchise agreement and other major city wide contracts.

Facilities Management
Performs in-house or contracts for maintenance, repair, and minor construction of all City buildings.

Fleet Services
Performs repair and maintenance for all City vehicles including fire, police and small engine equipment as a one-stop operation.

Streets Division
Performs street maintenance, cleaning of storms drains, repairs to bike paths and sidewalks and coordinates the repair of street signs. Information regarding canal maintenance can be found here.

Utilities Division
Operates a water treatment plant, repairs water services lines and maintains sanitary lift stations.
