City officials approved an amendment to the Waste Management Agreement, which includes changes to what and how recyclables are collected. Most importantly, residents can now mix all recyclables together, without having to separate newspapers and cardboard from other items.
All materials recycled through the City's curbside program must meet the standards of the recycling center. Here is a reminder of what should and should not be placed in your green recycling container.
(Note: To replace or order a recycling bin, please contact WM at 954-974-7500, and they will deliver one to your home within 10 business days.)
