The Sawgrass Nature Center
and Wildlife Hospital

The new facility will enable children and adults from Coral Springs and the surrounding Tri-County area to learn more about South Florida's natural environment and native animal species. It will offer interpretive nature programming and include an educational amphitheater, nature boardwalks, and outdoor cages for animal rehabilitation.

The Nature Center will be located at the north end of the park near Sawgrass Middle School, which is a magnet school for environmental studies. The park is flanked on the south end by Westchester Elementary School, giving local school children a unique sense of ownership and participation.
