Worldfest
featuring "Coral Springs has Talent" Competition

Worldfest LogoMark your calendars for Sunday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. as the fourth annual WorldFest Celebration gets into full swing at the Sportsplex, 2575 Sportsplex Drive. Admission to this outdoor festival is free, but there will be a parking fee of $3 per vehicle.

The festival will cover a spectacular array of multi-cultural entertainment, cuisine and culture that salutes the diverse population in the Coral Springs area. Delicious cultural foods, live music, arts and crafts, educational activities, and amusements for children will be featured.

This year, WorldFest is looking for talented amateurs to compete in “Coral Springs has Talent.” The competition is open Coral Springs residents and talents of all kinds are welcome. Cultural acts are encouraged. Interested participants must pre-register by completing the application form below, which must be mailed or dropped off to Joyce Campos, 9551 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL 33065. Applicants must agree to audition prior to WorldFest and those that qualify, will perform at Worldfest at the Coral Springs Sportsplex, where judging will take place. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place winners.
