Financial Advisory Committee

Overview

The Financial Advisory Committee develops new revenue sources and alternatives to ensure the city’s financial health. The objectives are to research and review all potential revenues permitted by legislature and its applicability in the city; to promulgate charges for services consumed by individuals or groups and not the community at large; and to ensure that new revenue for city services are provided to non-residents. The committee reviews and comments on other financial matters of city business which include but are not limited to internal and external audit work plan and financial report review, insuring procurement and financial policy.

The Committee consists of up to twenty (20) members.

Applicants must be City residents. There are no specified terms.
