Kim Moskowitz

Kim Moskowitz is the Director of Finance for the City of Coral Springs. Moskowitz has worked for the City of Coral Springs since 2001 and prior to her Director role, she served as interim Director, Accountant, City Controller and Assistant Finance Director.

Moskowitz graduated from Florida State University with bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the AICPA, FICPA, GFOA, and FGFOA. Prior to joining the city, Moskowitz worked at the Office of the Auditor General State of Florida and the City of Sunrise. 

In her current position, Moskowitz maintains the city’s strong financial reputation and continues to provide quality financial services to residents, employees and external customers. She oversees six divisions: Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Central Stores and Water Billing. 

Moskowitz strives for the city’s finance team to provide exceptional service to customers which include residents and businesses in the Coral Springs Water District; the city’s vendors; and all city employees. Every year, under her leadership, the department maintains the rare AAA bond ratings and receives the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the GFOA. 

Her passion, energy and excellence are what make Moskowitz a valued and dedicated employee of the city. She has been a proud Coral Springs resident for over 30 years with her husband Rob and her three children who attended schools in Coral Springs. Moskowitz is a big believer of Coral Springs being a great place to live, work and raise a family.
