Fire Station #64

Fire Station #64

When Fire Station 64 was built 45 years ago, it was designed to accommodate the volunteer firefighters who served our community at that time.

In 1977, Fire Station 2, now recognized as Station 64, opened to protect the southeast edge of Coral Springs and provided  service under Chief Russ Donovan. Through the years, Fire Station 2 adopted its Broward County number 64 and  underwent various changes, including a renovation in 2008.

The new fire station will contain approximately 8,000 square feet in floor area, three bays, and state-of-the-art bi-fold doors. Additionally, they will provide the necessary space to accommodate full-time firefighters with dormitory living facilities and adequate working areas to perform their functions as emergency responders.
