Volunteer Services

We are always looking for adult and high school volunteers to dedicate their time and talent in making a difference in our community. Our volunteers range in age from 14 to 80+ and perform a variety of functions throughout our City departments.

All residents looking to volunteer must fill out an adult application or a teen application and waiver.

Summer Youth Program

The Coral Springs Police are looking for student volunteers to assist with the police-run Summer Youth Program. The six-week program provides food, enrichment and safety to under-served children between the ages of 6-13, who reside in the City of Coral Springs.

  • Volunteers must be willing to volunteer at least two consecutive weeks of the program and be in good standing with the law. After completing the registration process, volunteers will be contacted to complete an interview.
  • The program runs from June 22- July 29, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at James Hunt Elementary.

Mandated Service

Due to COVID-19, we are not accepting any court ordered (mandated) participants at this time. 

Provides an opportunity for teens (14 years of age or older) and adults who have been arrested for a misdemeanor crime to serve community hours in lieu of formal court proceedings or fines. This program is for Coral Springs residents only.

1. An administrative fee of $25.00 cash or money order must be brought to City Hall Utility Billing Division Finance Department. (no checks accepted and the fee is nonrefundable)

2. Receive a receipt from the cashier

Contact Volunteer Services at 954-346-4434 to complete an application over the phone. We will schedule an appointment for you to come into the Volunteer Services Office to sign paperwork/forms. Be sure to bring your receipt to the appointment.
