The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and technology for city departments. DoIT, through collaboration and participation with city departments, provides the highest quality cost-effective technical support and services that are critical in meeting the needs of city staff and the citizens they serve.

Stephen Dyer

Stephen Dyer joined the City of Coral Springs in 2013 as a Database Analyst. Prior to his promotion to Director of Information Technology Systems in February 2019, he served as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Manager and Assistant Director.

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services Division is committed to providing the City of Coral Springs with many services including map production, custom spatial application development, data development, and technical support. Taking advantage of the latest geospatial technologies, the quality services provided include data collection and conversion, database creation, mapping, data modeling, analysis, and custom interface design and development. GIS plays an invaluable role within the City of Coral Springs by providing current information and data analysis in support of many critical city functions including public safety, emergency response, city development, zoning, land use, engineering, and transportation.
