Captain Brad Mock, Special Operations

Captain Mock began his career with the Coral Springs Police Department in 1998. He served as a Patrol officer until 2004, at which time he was transferred to the Tactical and Gang Unit where he spent 3 years as a Tactical and Gang Officer.

In 2007, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, he supervised Patrol, the Tactical and Gang Unit and the K-9 Unit. In January 2010, he was promoted to Lieutenant, where he supervised Patrol until July of 2010, when he was promoted to Captain.

He has also been a member of the Special Weapons And Tactics Team since 2000 and currently holds the position of Commander. He currently serves as Captain of the Streets Intelligence, Strategic Enforcement Team (Set), K-9, Bikes, BEAR (Burglary) and VIN Unit.

Captain Mock graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He holds memberships to the National Tactical Officers Association, Florida SWAT Association, Florida FBI National Academy Associates and Florida Police Chiefs Association.
