Waste Transfer Station

Drop-Off

Coral Springs residents may drop off bulk, recycling, and organic materials every weekend at the Waste Transfer Station. Household Hazardous Waste drop-off is available at the station the first weekend of every month. Special Hazardous Waste drop-off is available several times a year on specific dates.

The service is free of charge for Coral Springs residents. Valid I.D. and proof of address must be presented.

Waste may be brought to the Transfer Station by car. Passenger van (no larger than a 7-person size). Pickup trucks (with beds no larger than 4’ x 8’). Trailers (with beds no larger than 4’ x 12’ x 3’).

Removal of any disposed material (scavenging) is prohibited.

Accepted during normal operating days and hours.

  • Household Goods
    i.e., couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances*, carpet and padding, etc.
  • Yard Waste
    i.e., unbundled tree trimmings, palm front, tree branches, brush
  • Cardboard
    flat and empty; no plastic or styrofoam filling
  • Tires - 2 per person
  • Household Construction and Demolition Material
    residents may dispose of up to 2 yards per day from home construction
  • Recyclables

  • Organics and Food Waste*
    *ONLY Saturday mornings; visit the Composting page for guidelines

*Freon must be removed from all appliances before disposing at the Waste Transfer Station.

  • Uncontained liquid
  • Batteries
  • Commercial waste
  • Raw garbage
  • Animal waste

Step 3.Household Hazardous Waste
