Passport Services Office

The Passport Services Office brings Coral Springs government to the people by providing passport and fingerprinting services for residents.

Overview

In an effort to improve productivity and reduce the time spent waiting for services at the Passport Services Office, we now offer the QLess Virtual Check-In System. QLess allows visitors to spend NO time in line so they can complete their business quickly and efficiently.

Step 1.Reserve Your Spot in Line or Make an Appointment

Customers must reserve a spot in line through the QLess Virtual Check-In System which is only available during operational hours.

There are two options for reserving a spot:

  • Join the Line as soon as possible; same day service.
  • Flex-Appointment available only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday is Appointment Only.
    • NOTE: Due to the high volume of customers, the system will close when we have reached the daily capacity. Once, the system closes it will only provide the scheduling a Flex-Appointment day/time options.
  • Customers must be sure to bring all documents and payments ready to their appointment.

Step 3.Important Info

All visitors must:

  • Wear a facial covering when entering the Passport Services Office and keep a 6-foot distance from others at all times.
  • Have application filled out (not signed), along with necessary documents, before checking in.
  • Wait in the car or enjoy shopping at the mall while waiting to be notified via text message when it is your turn. Congregating in front of the Passport Services Office is prohibited.
  • Transactions will be pre-screened prior to joining the queue. Review the “What Do I Bring” information links to the Department of State website before joining the line.
  • If you require translation or need assistance with completing your passport application, please call 954-344-1828 in advance to make accommodations to meet your specific needs.

The City of Coral Springs, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State, Passport Division, offers a convenient location to apply for a U.S. Passport.

Adult Passport Book Fees: 16 years of age and over

  • $110.00 application fee payable to the U.S. Department of State (Check or Money Order - starter checks are not acceptable )
  • $35.00 execution fee payable to the City of Coral Springs (Cash, Money Order, Credit Cards: MC/Visa)

Child Passport Book Fees: 15 years of age and under

  • $80.00 application fee payable to the U.S. Department of State (Check or Money Order starter checks are not acceptable )
  • $35.00 execution fee payable to the City of Coral Springs (Cash, Money Order, Credit Cards: MC/Visa)

Expedite Service:

  • $60.00 fee for each passport payable to the U.S. Department of State
  • Passport and execution fees above
  • No foreign check or foreign currency will be accepted.
  • ** U.S. Express Mail charges are based on current postal rates. (Fees are made payable to the US Department of State for the return of the U.S. Passport).

Step 3.Passport Photos

  • Passport photos are available for $15.15 for a set of two - colored photos.
  • For health and safety reasons, photos for babies and toddlers (ages 1 to 3), visitors must bring a solid white / off-white sheet or pillowcase

Fingerprinting

  • Fingerprinting services are offered only on Wednesdays from noon to 6PM.
  • Cost is $15 per card. Customer must supply their own card or may buy card onsite.
  • The fingerprinting cards are often used for job related purposes, such as insurance, health care workers, child care, and real estate.
  • We do not fingerprint for the following: expungement, name changes, concealed weapons, immigration, alcohol and tobacco licenses
