Songs of the Cinema

  • Introduction: "Sounds of the Cinema" is a unique performance by the Presidio Brass of San Diego.

"Sounds of the Cinema" is a unique performance by the Presidio Brass of San Diego. A quintet comprised of brass, piano and percussion instruments, the ensemble will be joined on stage during two special pieces with up to 200 middle and high school students who will have participated in a one day residency earlier with the professionals.

The spoken words of the concert will be translated into sign language making this a special opportunity for the hearing impaired.

Ticket prices are: Free for students performing; $5 for students; $15 for teachers and parents of music students and $25 for all others.
