DEA Drug Take Back
Coral Springs Opioid Task Force is partnering with the DEA for the National Drug Take Back
- Date: 10/26/2019 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Location: Broward Health Coral Springs
3100 Coral Hills Drive
Coral Springs, Florida 33065
The event is held to combat a crucial public safety and public health issue related to prescription drug abuse and misuse. Studies shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet. Coral Springs Police will be collecting your unwanted or unused prescription medications, no questions asked. You can leave your medications in the bottle, the entire prescription will be incinerated and will not leave the hands of sworn law enforcement personnel.
Please, NO sharps, aerosols, syringes or liquid MEDs.
The drop off location is at the 3100 Coral Hills Drive (Medical Office Complex, use the ER entrance off Coral Hills Drive). If you have any questions about the event, contact CSPD Community Involvement at (954) 344-1833.
