CSPD Investigates Reports of Compromised Credit Cards
Coral Springs, FL - Five Coral Springs Water District (CSWD) customers, who pay their water bill online with a credit card, reported that their credit card information was compromised.
The third-party vendor, who processes payments for CSWD, has been contacted and an investigation has been initiated with the Coral Springs Police Department’s Economic Crimes Division. At this time, it is unknown whether the online payment system was compromised. As a result, CSWD temporarily suspended online credit card payments for water billing in an abundance of caution.
Water services in the City are provided by four water districts. This warning is for Coral Springs Water District customers only. If you are unsure which district you are serviced by, visit coralsprin.gs/WaterDistricts.
