Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is accessible to anyone who can get up and down from the floor on their own.  We use the classical poses and breath work of hatha yoga, adapting them as needed. Body movement and breath is synchronized, with emphasis on alignment and most importantly working within our capacity without strain, thereby safely increasing strength, stamina, and vitality, flexibility, joint mobility, and mental clarity.  Deep relaxation at the beginning and end of class creates a sense of well-being that we can carry off the mat and into daily life.
