Coral Springs, FL – On June 8, 2021, the City of Coral Springs MLK Committee, in partnership with the Coral Springs Community Chest, Inc., announced the 15 high school seniors who were awarded scholarship funds for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Inspired by the recipients, Vice Mayor Joshua Simmons said, “To come across such a large group of students practicing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s teachings through their actions in their daily lives is incredibly powerful and inspiring. These students are peacemakers amongst their peers and stand up for racial equality. They make a positive and impactful difference in their communities. I wish them all continued success as they pursue higher education.”
