High school diploma or equivalent; some previous dispatch experience helpful, but not required. Must have exceptional customer service; ability to multi-task, ability to remain
calm in highly stressful situations and react quickly.
Perfex – Basic Dispatch skills Test- only candidates considered for interview will be tested. Computerized Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) also administered to candidates considered
for hire. Level I Psychological and Medical Exam with Auditory Test Required.
Flexibility to work a varied work schedule in accordance with the Department’s 24/7 operational requirements, 40-hour work-week.
