Lynne Martzall, Public Information Officer/WriterWriter who specializes in highlighting issues, solutions and day-to-day operations of city-government.

A 21-year public relations professional, Lynne served as the Public Relations manager for the Broward Sheriff’s Office – the nation’s third largest public safety agency until 2013, where she managed crisis communication, media outreach and the promotion of public safety initiatives . During her tenure she served as the editor for Signal 14 – quarterly full-color magazine for residents and employees.

In 2014, Lynne joined the Coral Springs Police Department serving as the social media coordinator. In addition to providing content development and management, Lynne was responsible for producing online video content and articles for local print media, news media coordination for positive promotion and public safety promotion.

Lynne joined the City of Coral Springs Communications & Marketing Division in May 2018 and serves as the City’s spokesperson, coordinating news releases and interviews with media outlets, as well as crisis communication. She emcees for large-scale City events and serves as moderator for online and public meetings. Lynne is responsible for writing news stories, which promote the City and highlight its employees. She is the primary speech-writer for City officials.

Lynne has been recognized for her work by the Association for Women in Communications (National Chapter and Fort Lauderdale Chapter); The Crime Prevention Association of Florida and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee of Coral Springs. She is an active member of the Florida Municipal Communications Association and South Florida Media Coalition.
