The City of Coral Springs is offering rental assistance to eligible residents who have experienced job or income loss as a result of COVID-19. Under this program, a lease agreement must already be in place, rental assistance will be paid directly to the landlord, and rents should be reasonable and meet fair market rent rates.  Eligible Coral Springs residents will receive up to three months of assistance, not to exceed a maximum of $8,500 in total benefits.

Funding is limited and assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-ready, and first-approved basis.  As a result of limited funding, the City will be accepting a limited number of inquiries. Broward County Minority Builders Coalition, the city’s consultants, will proceed to reach out to those who inquired with further information. Assistance is contingent upon funding therefore assistance is not guaranteed.

If you need additional information or have any questions, please call 954-344-1161 or 954-792-1121 Ext.23 (Broward County Minority Builders).

The City of Coral Springs is no longer accepting applications for the rental assistance program. Should additional funding become available, the rental assistance program may re-open and information will be published on our website.
