Waste Pro services has resumed normal service, please have your green cart out by 6 a.m.

Waste Pro extra colllection after hurricaneIMPORTANT – this is kitchen garbage only. If you have overflow garbage bags (that do not fit inside your green cart) place them next to the green cart. A second garbage truck will make a pass through to collect that waste. Waste Pro will not collect recycling, bulk trash or yard waste until Monday, September 9, 2019.

Multi-family communities and businesses with front loading compactors or dumpsters will have extended collection hours starting tomorrow to alleviate garbage overflow which will continue through Saturday, September 14, 2019. These communities and businesses can expect trash collection service as early as 3 a.m. and as late as 8 p.m.

Waste Pro representatives are working directly with Public Works staff to communicate at the end of each collection day about communities that may not have been serviced. Communities which may be missed due to garbage volume can expect Waste Pro to return the next day for collection.

The Waste Transfer Station will reopen on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is the first Saturday of the month, which means Waste Pro will accept paint, light bulbs and electronics. They will be open on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
