Lieutenant Randy Rosenberg began his career with the Coral Springs Police department in 1999. He served as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer until 2004 when he was promoted to Detective and worked in the General Investigation Unit, Crimes Against Persons, and Economic Crimes. During his time as a Detective he was assigned to the United States Organized Secret Service Fraud Task Force.
In 2010, he was promoted to Sergeant and supervised Patrol and then transferred to the Criminal Investigation Component and supervised General Investigations, Crimes Against Persons and Economic Crimes Unit.
In 2018, he was promoted to Lieutenant and is currently supervising Patrol and is the Back-Up Investigator for Internal Affairs. Lieutenant Rosenberg graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration.
Throughout his career, Lieutenant Rosenberg has received 2 exceptional police initiative commendations, 2 team citations, 1 unit citation, and 2 Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year awards from the U.S. Department of Justice.
