for EXPERIENCED Florida State Certified Law Enforcement Officer Candidates
Eligibility - You must hold current certification as a Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Florida AND have a minimum of ONE YEAR full-time sworn, law enforcement experience (not limited to the State of Florida).
Payment - $2,500 is paid upon successful completion of field training and $2,500 is paid upon successful completion of probationary period/one year anniversary.
*Effective for any officer meeting the above criteria that is hired after September 1, 2018. Subject to applicable payroll taxes. All monies are subject to repayment if new hire terminates within first 2-years of employment. This bonus program can be discontinued without notice, at any time.

With a staff of 5, the Human Resources Unit manages the recruitment, employment, payroll, assignment transfer, promotion, personnel records and off-shift employment needs of the Coral Springs Police Department.
