The mission of the Coral Springs Police Explorer Program is to guide young adults to a better path for the future through a comprehensive program of training, competition, practical experiences, leadership, teamwork, discipline, friendship and to assist the Coral Springs Police Department and the citizens of Coral Springs through their commitment to serving their community through community service.

Explorers are mentored by a group of dedicated sworn and civilian police employees, who emphasize self-confidence, strong work ethic, accountability, and integrity. This program is designed for young men and women ages 14 through 21 years old and must have a 2.5 GPA who are interested in law enforcement as a potential career.
