Break Spot Summer Program

Teen Volunteers 15 and Older

The Coral Springs Police are looking for student volunteers to assist with the police-run Summer BreakSpot program. The six-week program provides food enrichment and safety to under-served children between the ages of 6-11, who reside in the City of Coral Springs.

Program Location: James S. Hunt Elementary School

2019 Program Dates:
June 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27
July 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25

Volunteer Hours are from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day of the program
Download Forms Volunteer Requirements:
  • Interested student volunteers will be required to complete a quick interview with the site Police Officer
  • Be willing to volunteer for at least two consecutive weeks of the program
  • Complete and return necessary volunteer paperwork and be in good standing with the law

Volunteer Duties: Assist with Reading, Arts and Crafts, and Participate in Sporting Activities
