Safety Town is nationally recognized program for children ages 4-6 years of age. Located at Kiwanis Park, the program has been in place for more than 28 years. The curriculum is taught in five stations, which include:

  • Personal Safety
  • Pedestrian Safety
  • Bicycle Safety
  • Canal and Animal Safety
  • Fire Safety

The Coral Springs Police Community Involvement Unit operates a one-day field trip for kindergarten students enrolled in schools located in the city. If you would like information on the Coral Springs School field trips, please contact Community Involvement Liaison Monica Vargas at (954) 346-1311 or via email at

During the summer months, student volunteers and members of Kiwanis of Coral Springs in conjunction with police and fire run the Safety Town Summer Camp. The camp is a two-week, half-day program for children between the ages of 4-6.
