Attention: All Coral Springs Water Customers

Water DrainBeginning on July 13, 2020 and running through July 26, 2020, the City of Coral Springs Utilities & Engineering Division, along with all other water utilities within Coral Springs, will temporarily be changing its method of chlorinating its water to comply with recommendations from the Department of Environmental Protection. In addition to this change, Water main flushing will also take place during this period, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

As a result, within the two-week period, you may notice a chlorine taste or odor in the tap water. Be advised that temporary discoloration of the water and a reduction in pressure may also occur during this period of flushing. These temporary conditions are not harmful to your health.

Customers are cautioned to check the water for clarity before washing clothes and before use for drinking or cooking. If you are on kidney dialysis, please consult your physician for any special instructions. If you have tropical fish or aquatic animals, please contact your local pet store for advice. Customers with inline filters may want to contact the equipment manufacturer for any precautions.

Water PipeThe flushing program minimizes the build-up of mineral and other sediments, that over time can affect water quality and water flows through the pipes. It also allows the Water Departments to verify the fire hydrants are working properly and available for fire protection.
