For the past 25 years, the Coral Springs Martin Luther King Committee has dedicated itself to living the dreams of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Each year during Dr. Kings’ birthday weekend, the City presents activities to help foster equality, peace and dedication in honor of Dr. King's legacy.
Now, after 25 years of honoring Dr. King, the Coral Springs MLK Monument Committee is excited to unveil the magnificent Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Monument on Friday, January 15, 2016. The ceremony will take place at the Northwest Regional Library at 4 p.m.
This Monument is the first of its kind in Broward and Miami/Dade Counties. This site will hopefully foster understanding, peace and love to all those who visit.
Everyone is invited to visit the Monument at any time at the Northwest Regional Library, located at 3151 N. University Drive.
