The flood zones in the City of Coral Springs have recently changed as part of an update to the flood models used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). A study was required to take into consideration a new vertical datum that allows for the consistent comparison of land and water elevations across the nation.  In addition, new technologies have provided for better flood protection across the City. You can determine whether your home is located in a flood zone, by clicking on the link to the Flood Information System for Broward County or viewing a map of the Coral Springs Flood Zones

As part of the CRS program, the City of Coral Springs will provide information from the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) pertaining to your property.  If you’d like to know whether the property is in the Special Flood Hazard Area, the community number for Coral Springs, the FIRM panel for your property, the date of the FIRM’s index, the FIRM zone, base flood datum elevation, and elevation datum used on the FIRM then please contact the City of Coral Springs Engineering Department at 954-345-2160.
